Ken is a restaurateur, entrepreneur and community activist in northwest Philadelphia.  He founded and currently owns Trolley Car Diner & Deli since 2000 and founded and operated Cresheim Cottage Café from 1996 until 2004.  Trolley Car Diner, named Best Breakfast in 2009 by My Fox Philly and Best of Philly - Kid Friendly Dining - by Philadelphia Magazine, is a 150 seat casual dining establishment located on Germantown Avenue in Mt. Airy.
Ken co-founded and serves as Chair of the Mt. Airy Business Improvement District and founded the Mt. Airy Community Computer Center and the Mt. Airy Teacher's Fund.  In 2009, Ken received the Community Leadership Award by Community College of Philadelphia for his efforts to improve his Mt. Airy neighborhood and the My Block, My Business Award by the Empowerment Group for the small business in Philadelphia that best serves its community.
